Tuesday Talk with Kelly Burke

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday, Bay Area.

We continue to find ourselves in uncharted territory when it comes to in-person. This is the time for us to rally together, learn from our trials/errors, and support each other. If you or your organization are struggling a bit, you are not alone. What is sfBIG doing, you ask? We are listening to you, starting important conversations, being proactive and supporting our industry. Here is a list of specifically what we are doing, our upcoming events, and how you can get involved.

Agencies – We have been building a committee of leaders from Bay Area agencies. We are tackling tough subjects and banding together to unite our industry. Our next meeting will be coming up in August. If you or your agency would like to be involved, please contact [email protected] to hear more.

Support – We are here to support and encourage involvement with the other amazing organizations in the Bay Area as well as our sister organizations in the west. Creating bonds and opportunities to connect is paramount to the future of our industry. Come on out and join us as at these events in chronological order:

Mentor Program – While our current program is winding to an end this week, we are already planning our next program. Mentorship is more important than ever right now. The junior people in our industry don’t have access to the same support we were lucky to have. To learn more and join the program contact us at [email protected]

Career Development and Educational Opportunities – From cross-discipline 101s to advanced professional training, sfBIG is here to be the hub for industry education and development in the Bay Area. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information.

Brands – Similar to our agency committee, we intend to build a committee comprised of brand leaders. I would love a few more brands to help me build this out and create something truly beneficial for brands in the Bay Area. Please contact me at [email protected]
