DESCRIPTION:On February 25th\, we will be kicking off the BAARC/sfBIG Mentor Program with a mixer at Wavemaker. Mentors (10+ years in the advertising/marketing business) and Mentees (Anyone interested in the advertising/marketing industry) will mingle\, network\, and hear all about the Mentor Program. We will share expectations\, commitments\, timelines\, and answer any questions you may have.  \n                             \nPlease come and meet many new faces within the industry\, while we will be walking through what the mentor program will be looking like. This is a great time to network with mentors and mentees and fill out some information to help us help you find the before mentor/mentee possible. \n  \nWhy be a BAARC/sfBIG Mentor? \n\n\nRenew your enthusiasm for your role and for the industry\nGive a greater understanding of barriers experienced by the junior levels in our industry or those just beginning\nBuild your coaching\, counseling\, and listening skills\nDevelop your leadership skills in a more personal manner\nIncrease you awareness of generational differences\nGive you a chance to help shape a future leader\nAllow you to exercise your abilities to be empathetic\nBut mostly\, it will make you feel good!\n\n\nWhy be a BAARC/sfBIG Mentee?\n\n\nHelp further your professional skills and development\nExpand your network\, therefore increasing your industry exposure\nProvide you with a trusted ally and sounding board in the industry\nHelp you navigate your career by demonstrating different perspectives\nHelp shape and clarify your career goals\nGive you insight to the ins/outs of finding success in your career\nHighlight your strengths and explore your potential\nIncrease your confidence and aide in your personal growth\n\n\n  \nWe are still looking for Mentors\, Mentees\, or volunteers to help run the program.
