Meet Samantha Chavez

• What is your current job title/company and responsibility
  • Director, Strategy at OMD managing media for the Wholesale (B2B) and Wealth Investment Management LOBs for Wells Fargo
• What is your idea of perfect happiness 
  • Perfect happiness is the opportunity to constantly explore and travel. I just returned from a solo trip to Thailand.
• What are the best thing about your job and the least favorite part of your job? 
  • I love solving complex marketing problems for Wells Fargo with our agency partners (BBDO, Organic, and Rapp). Constant emails are probably my least favorite part of my job
• What talent would you most like to have? 
  • Speaking a second (or third) language. I’m mildly proficient in Spanish
• What do you most value in your friends? 
  • Being genuine
• What gets you excited about this industry right now? 
  • The fast-paced nature. Media has changed significantly in the last 5-10 years. I’m interested to see how the streaming wars shake up and how it will impact the video and TV industry.  
• What are two of your favorite places to go in the Bay Area-your little secrets 
  • Rich Table and Petit Crenn are delicious spots for dinner. I also love The Paige, a dive bar on Divisadero.
